I was honored to design and fabricate banners and signs for this vital community space for Indigenous artists. I used: local reclaimed Cedar; laser-cut MDF; waterproof, adhesive prints; latex, Osmo stains & poly finishes. After my first visit to a Portland Indigenous Marketplace pop-up in 2019, I asked founder Lluvia Merello if I could make some signage for them, to boost street visibility. She said yes!
Working with their existing colorway, logos and needs for transportability and all-weather durability, I designed and fabricated two double-sided A-frame signs with graphics in dimensional relief.

Grateful to Preston Browning for donating the lumber from Salvage Works, a much-missed maker resource.
Thanks to Gabe Sprenger for sharing his wood shop and helping hands with the planing and glue-ups. I love how abundant and generous the stop-motion community is!
More helping hands from my partner (and dog)...
...my sweet Mom...
...and some good good friends.
Lluvia and I also collaborated on designing this large, 4x8ft, weatherproof scrim-banner with grommets.
ColorHaus PrintCo is my go-to Portland print shop, and were generous with discounted rates.
