The Portlanders

Scott Foster brought me on to resculpt, repair and repaint the characters he made for Travel Portland. They had many dings and dents from their previous cross-country tour, so we restored them for their next pop-up inside PDX Int’l Airport.

When Scott Foster originally sculpted these characters, they were built with viewfinders in the back of their heads, featuring VR-animated Portland scenes created by House Special.

I was brought on to remove their headgear and resculpt their heads. I also repaired and repainted wear and tear from their previous cross-country tour.

I enjoyed the challenge of matching the sculpt of all their different hair textures.
