SET DRESSING WORK

This was my first stop-mo Dressing rodeo, under the Art Direction of Alice Bird and the mentorship of a world-class team of Set Dressers, so it holds a special spot in my heart. I adopted two Sr. Dressers’ active sets mid-shoot, composed shots, decorated sets, and tracked continuity and assets across a dozen stages.

My pride-and-joys included: the fam’s Journey Montage thru underground waterfalls, meadows and mountains; all Origami Boats — from fishin’ with Beetle to Monkey’s stormy battle; the MoonKing’s Origami Temple & Islands; the final epic strumming shot in Hanzo’s Destroyed Fortress; Marketing sets for promos & press visits; and the post-credits Odokuro BTS Button!

LANDSCAPES WORK

I fabricated organic environments and miniature greens, specializing in foam-carving, hard-coating & texturing large set pieces.

Some of my favorite sets to create were: Statue Ruins buried in snowscapes; Sariatu’s Cave and hero nooks; the Whale Carcass frozen ribcage; Skull Island jaw ruins and beach dunes; Kubo’s Origami Boats made of 365k+ leaves; thatched roofs and scorched Village Remains; bamboo, snowy pine, and fern Forests; and the mossy Cemetery and its rocky riverbanks.
